Tylenol is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Its active ingredient is acetaminophen, the same medicine called paracetamol in many other countries. Unlike ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin, it is not a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and does not reduce inflammation.
